Jay represents the new wave of rap artists (even though he's been here, which shows just how ahead of his time he is), because he's the total package......a liive emcee plus business minded enough to promote his own self.......

The album is dope.i coped it on the release day and been listenin to it at least once a day since findin myself diggin tracks i didn't that much at first.big ups to nas on this one.he deserves it.

Ha hell yeah, i got the cd. Last night, i was bangin it on the fdr this cd. Is definitely the hottest joint out, it surpassed god's son and street disciple, you really get a glimpse at who nas is, that brother dug deep down on this one, another thing i noticed is that when you hear a song on this website, it means nothing compared to the order that it is put in on the cd. If you hear your music in a specific order it sounds totally different, this is a 5 mics for me hands down!!!!

Smokes804, i feel you. At 1st i was skipping over certain tracks. But after the second, third listen i began bumping "you can't kill me" and "who killed it." off the bat i was feeling "still dreaming". I'm a sucker for soul samples. At least one primo track would've made this a 5mics for me.

I don't like to get caught up in numbers, because as we all know, numbers definitely don't add up to a hot album or make you a great artist, but so much for jeezy's comment to monie love about checking 1st week numbers. From a sound engineers point of view, i am so impressed with the production. So many of the tracks sound like a real drummer actually played on the track, if it werent a drummer, on those tracks.. It must of been a superior drum machine.. Sum digi-design strike sh*t. Its realy refreshing to hear hip-hop like this... Its beautiful muzik. Y'all know bout nas!!

I am not very happy with what the album made. I think it deserve more than what it made. I heard that jay-z album sold more and it wasn't as great as hhid. But remember jay knows how to promote and nas does not believe in the commercial stuff. It is because of kelis telling him to go out and promote his album. Big ups to kelis. She the reason sold those numbers. He said he feels funny when he sees himself on magazine covers. Nas so much does not care about making huge numbers. The cd is hot. I could have burned it, but i actually went out and spent the $12 to show support.
