Timbaland Working On New Solo Album

Timbaland has spent 2006 producing hits for Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado, but the Virginia native is currently working on an untitled solo album, set for release in March.

Keeping in step with his new pop/dance sound, Timbaland is said to be reaching out to an assortment of artists including Bjork, Jay-Z, Missy Elliott, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, and Ludacris.

Timbaland is also slated to produce tracks for upcoming records by 50 Cent and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony to be released later this year.

Meanwhile Timbaland is also touring with Timberlake, whose latest album “FutureSex/LoveSounds” is produced primarily by the two artists. Since its release in September, the album has sold over 4 million copies worldwide.

In the hip-hop world, Timbaland is best known for producing tracks like “Big Pimpin” by Jay-Z, “Put You On The Game” by the Game, and “Headsprung” by LL Cool J.

When you add hip hop along with his r & b, and pop......please name anyone whos done it better. Idk....quincy jones? dayem think jodeci, missy, aliahya, jay-z, justin, and now cats like nelly and omarion.....dayem....no wonder cat took a hiatus....shyt brother prolly stuffing his pillowcases with money to go to sleep.

.......his album is going to be fire, with just the names mentioned above, you and tell its going to be good for hip hop...... Anything missy is on is good for hip hop, not to mention his beats are equivalent to a super nova compressed into a cd, jay F*cked up by not having him on his album. He gave dre too much say so on his sh*t......

There's no denying the man's accomplishments, particularly when you consider his range. I'm curious about the whole jay-z thing myself. A nice timberland track would have pepped up jay's album around cut number 9.

Timberland should be known as "ceo of hip/hop" cuz da nigg@ contributed so much to da game.frm beats and krazy rhymes even muzik to bump in da clubs. And c'mon even dr. Dre gives da man respect. One time for timb though, you feel.

Timbaland is expanding and showing off by mending genres and attracting a large and well mixed audience. I want to be like timbaland in the near future. The only thing i disagree with as far as timbo's album is that he should have had a little bit more pop stars on it. He does joints for them and they make bank off of it. I think they need to return the favor. No need for him to worry though, he will be making bank with out them...

Dammm!!! timbaland's beats is outta dis world trust me he have produce loads of beats for loadz of trackz. I seriously rate him and pharrell...u put both of dem together it will be hot't personally he should make my songs with missy elliot...i seriously love all the songs they come up wit...wicked!!! lol;

Timbaland was at justin's concert, in detroit and he did an intermission with strictly beats, no lyrics and supposively it was a sample of his upcoming album. It was by far the sickest beats i've ever heard. I'm just trying to find that sh*t.
