50 Cent Mixes Business, Street Life in New Book
Thursday, February 8, 2007 By: Kenny Rodriguez
Wonder what Al Capone and Bill Gates have in common? 50 Cent hopes to show his fans in a new book, “The 50th Law.”
50 Cent is joining with author Robert Greene to publish the hardcover spin-off to the best-selling “40 Laws Of Power,” which details how to get ahead in the corporate world.
In his remake, 50 Cent says he will “capture and create a visible parallel between street life and corporate America standard and structure.” Office ethics meet the code of the streets?
“We are living through chaotic times; the standard models for success in business and life don’t work so well anymore,” said Greene.
“50, as the consummate strategist of the street and boardroom, exemplifies the new entrepreneurial spirit required for the 21st century. ‘The 50th Law’ will reveal the secret to his success and how we can all apply this to our lives.”
The book is also heading to the big screen in a movie adaptation by filmmaker Quincy “QD3” Jones III.
“The 50th Law” is due in bookstores in February 2008 via MTV/Pocket Books, while the film is still in development.
