A-Trak, Kanye West's DJ, Starts New Label

A-Trak – Kanye West’s tour DJ and Invisibl Skratch Piklz affiliate – recently partnered with fellow DJ Nick Catchdubs to form a new label, Fool’s Gold, focusing on hip-hop and electronic music.

The Montreal DJ/producer hopes that Fool’s Gold will “be like when Rawkus [Records] first came out and was dropping 12”s every month. That’s what we’re shooting for.”

The label is already scheduled to drop releases from Bay Area producer Trackademiks, Chicago rapper GLC, and electro artists Kid Sister, Cool Kids, and Kayinsky.

Meanwhile, A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs are on the road in separate tours, alongside Ghostface Killah and several others.

Remaining shows are as follows:

4-28 - Indio, CA - Coachella
5-11 - Baltimore, MD - Sonar

Catchdubs dates:
4-18 - Chicago, IL - Subterranean *
4-28 - New York, NY - TBA

5-15 - New York, NY - Highline Ballroom #

Yo imus you obviously have no clue about dj culture and who this "kid" is. Homeslice won the dmc 3 times (first time g was 15), so while you were wrestling yourself to your moms vicky secrets catalog young buck was in the studio.
