Remember, everyone, these were the guys that got kids beatin on desks wit pencils to grindin (tho thats mainly on pharrell). And wamp wamp was the shiz. But i disagree where you say that ppl who dnt like the clipse are ppl that think weezy is the best rapper alive. Cuz i do, and i like the clipse. Ppl up north consider va the south, and i actually do find weezy and clipse to be similar, tho i live in atl, and consider va to be more northern than southern.

Rsx, i'm from detroit and consider va to be a more midwest state myself, but i guess they really are southern with northern speech influence. The only similarities between lil' wayne and clipse is the whole bape thing, but that's it, lil' waynes a wannabe. Lil' jon's hair and shades, jay-z's hat and swagg, gillie's rap style pharrell and clipse's clothing line, game's red rag and jim jones skull and chains and tight shirts. He has no idea who dwayne carter is yet, he just does a great imitation of everyone he's influenced by. I can't even begin to disect malice and pusha's true influence, it's almost like they influence each other, malice has the insane lyrics and pusha has the incredible flow and they come together and form voltron on tracks.
