I have to say that this is really ridiculous because i divorced my daughter's father and he only paid $390 per month. There were actually years that he did not pay but i still had to get out and take care of my daughter. I make well over $130k per year and as the woman i feel like regardless if the man helped out or not that i had the responsibility of ensuring that there was food on the table and clothes on her back. Due to that situation when i remarried and had my son i made damn sure that i could provide for them both and not rely on the father to provide monetary support.
