Police Say Foxy Brown Mugged, But She Denies

Foxy Brown — who is currently on probation for assault and facing a separate battery charge — was mugged over the weekend, according to police.

Four people reportedly mugged Brown, born Inga Marchand, and stole her Louis Vuitton bag, $500 in cash and credit cards around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday in the East New York section of Brooklyn, NY.

Roshawn Anthony, 23, was arraigned Sunday on charges of robbery, assault and grand larceny, said her attorney, Clinton Hughes. Her bail has been set at $50,000.

In an odd turn of events, Foxy Brown denies ever being mugged. Brown has told the New York Post that the robbery never occurred, and that she wasn’t even at the location police gave.

“A lot of the time, people mistake me for someone else, or people always call in these false tips,” Brown told the newspaper on Saturday.

However, police insist the rapper had indeed been attacked and are continuing with the case.

Anthony’s next court date is on Thursday.

Ya, she even showed the police where it was at because she's a snitch now, brooklyn pass revoked man. She's coming out with a new cd so i think she's doing all this for publicity stunts seriously.
