Soooo F*ck*n' late with this story, it's reported that she's knocked out three kanye produced tracks as well which should be nice, but i wanna see her collab with salaam remi againas well try some work with raphael saadiq, just blaze or pete rock! she means more to hip hop and r&b than people know, even she doesn't know how much we actually "need" her back. I personally haven't been so influenced in my life by an artist like her since tupac amaru shakur. Next to pac, she's the realest as well as common. I still listen to the miseducation of lauryn hill to this day! and it murders any singer's album and is still hip hop to the fullest at the same time. I know it won't live up to the miseducation, but i think its great that i think like that so that hopefully since i won't be expecting that great of an album from her, when she does drop the album will be better than i actually expected.

Lauryn hill admitted in an interview that "some kid" was going around on the internet saying she didn't intend for white people to listen to her music. She said she was so hurt by that rumor because anyone with half a brain can obviously see her intelligence in her message and know that she's too smart to be an ignorant racist. Her music is about spreading peace and uplifting, not seperating. What lauryn hill did say that she wasn't expecting the suburban white audience to take on to her music as much as they did, it was a surprise to her that she was inspiring more than just the black woman, but people of all races and sexes alike, it made her happy! get ya sh*t straight homie and stop being a follower, find her quotes instead of listening to rumors.

I'll admit i despise racism of all kinds with a passion, but get your facts straight before you put words in lauryn's mouth. If she really had made those racist comments on mtv the tape would've been replayed all over america...not one witness can corroborate her saying any such thing. But when you're successful hating comes with the territory, and it's unfortunate she has had to deal with such ignorance.
