Roots Headline VH1’s Hip Hop Honors Tour

The RootsVH1 has announced a multi-artist tour based on its annual Hip Hop Honors awards show, to be headlined by the Roots and others.

The 15-city tour will feature the Philadelphia rap group and several unnamed special guests.

It kicks off on Sept. 13 in San Francisco and winds down on Oct. 5 in New York City, leading up to this year’s Hip Hop Honors show.

A ticket presale for the tour will start on July 11 at tours.vh1.com, and the public on-sale date is July 13.
