50 Cent’s 'Curtis' Pushed Back One Week
Monday, July 16, 2007 By: Kenny Rodriguez
The release date of 50 Cent’s upcoming album, “Curtis,” has been pushed back another week from Sept. 4 to Sept. 11.
Although Interscope Records have not commented on the delay, several industry insiders have cited the addition of several new tracks, as well as the Labor Day holiday weekend as possible reasons.
So far tracks “Amusement Park” and “Straight To The Bank” have met with little success on the radio, prompting the release of its latest single “I Get Money.”
“Curtis,” the follow-up to 50 Cent’s 2005 album “The Massacre,” will feature production from Dr. Dre, Timbaland, and Eminem, and guest appearances by Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Akon, and Mary J. Blige.
