Common Sets Fall Tour, Films Coming Soon

Common is hitting the road to promote his latest album, “Finding Forever,” which was officially released today, July 31.
The Chicago rapper will be touring throughout North America during the fall with pit-stops in Los Angeles, Toronto, Las Vegas, and New York City.
Tour dates are as follows:
Sept. 5 … San Francisco, CA … Mezzanine
Sept. 7 … Los Angeles, CA … Wiltern Theatre
Sept. 8 … Anaheim, CA … House of Blues
Sept. 9 … Las Vegas, NV … House of Blues
Sept. 13 … Denver, CO … The Fillmore Auditorium
Sept. 15 … Dallas, TX … House of Blues
Sept. 16 … Austin, TX … La Zona Rosa
Sept. 24 … Toronto, Ontario … Kool Haus
Oct. 7 … New York, NY … Nokia Theatre
Meanwhile, Common will be appearing in three upcoming films, the first of which is the long-anticipated “American Ganger” starring Denzel Washington.
The crime thriller, based on the life of heroin kingpin Frank Lucas, also features Russell Crowe, T.I. and the RZA. The film hits theatres in November.
Common is also featured alongside Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman in “Wanted,” due out in early 2008, and “Night Watch” with Forrest Whitaker and Keanu Reeves.
