I agree with fnf sidewards. How do we expect these guys to seriously plan on hip hop being their career and the main focus if it barely is a substantial source of income for many of them. A lot of these so-called hip hop fans go download all these people's music and don't spend any of their money. You can't support an artist that way. What do you expect them to do. Keep spending all their time and energy making stuff for you to enjoy and not be compensated. To spend all their time doing music and not be able to support themselves and their families? the audience is killing hip hop just as much as the artists in many cases.

As far my dudes album being pushed back, i don`t mind becouse the more time you put into it the better it`ll turn out and as far as him making 2 more albums, and leaving, thats ain`t true artist say that all the time but end up making two three more albums but at the same time if he does, i just hope that he invest his money right and continues to grow .

Lahzee man that was a great comment. Most entertainers(including athletes) invest poorly and end up bankrupt so i hope he invests properly. I hate this because him and the game are two of my favorite mc's(also chamillionaire and pap)but if he feels like he would be happier, then i'd do it. Word, i feel as tho the mixtapes should be the only thing made available to download. I mean computers are all over the world but it might be hard for someone in some third world country to get they hands on the vinyl or the cd or whatever. So if the artists want to reach those fans i guess you gotta give em somethin. But nah, cats should spend that 13 bucks for the cd cause some (not all) of these artists are kickin quality material. To all those idiots posting comments about the audience killing hiphop or music as a form of income, shut the F*ck up. If those artists would put out any good music people would actually buy their albums, mp3s are fine, but still a cd/lp with a kickass cover and other stuff thrown in are well worth their money, you don't get that from a file. Put quality first and the money will follow. Thats what happens in a capitalist market, if your product is bs and competition is better, your company will die sooner or later... Quality people, quality.

And theres too many rapers out there, who have their own albums out. People just dont have that kind of mony to buy every album that comes out. They choose only the best and buy that

Lupe was suppose to be the next tupac, and i no longer like him now. How you going to make only 3 albums? the reason he says he doesnt feel like a top artist and didnt win best new artist award is he doesnt know how to promote himself after his album dropped i never seen him after. Real talk, ya'll claim to want real music, but then some get happy because real artist who aren't talking about ho's money and crack to get out the game. Don't get me wrong i like ti and luda, but what about the rappers that push the envelope the ones who arent scared to say something new on a record whether it effects their sales or not. Everyone can hate on lupe but we all know ya'll were the first to buy the cool. And you can't fake on that cd definately the hottest album out now. Seriously how many times can you hear bird calls and weezyf******baby rap about his grill. And to lupe, man do wat u gotta do to pay your bills, just know when your done if you decide to comeback their are millions of real hip hop fans like me who will always support you.
