[Update] Foxy Brown In Jail, Not Pregnant

While Foxy Brown begins serving a jail sentence for violating probation, her manager says the rapper isn’t pregnant, despite earlier reports to the contrary.

Brown was sentenced last Friday to one-year in prison for violating probation that stemmed from a 2004 fight with two manicurists in a New York City salon.

In August, defense lawyers told the court that Brown was three months pregnant. But in a statement released on Wednesday, her manager, Chaz Williams, said: “And to the pregnancy rumors, this is the official statement: She is not pregnant.”

Meanwhile, Brown has kept silent on the issue in a recent press statement announcing her upcoming album, “Brooklyn’s Don Diva,” set to drop on Nov. 20.

“This is just a temporary situation,” Brown said. “I made my bed and have no problem lying in it. My will is steady. What doesn’t kill me will only make me stronger.”

The album, which was initially scheduled for Dec. 4, will be Foxy Brown’s first album since her 2001 LP, “Broken Silence,” on Def Jam Recordings.

“Brooklyn’s Don Diva” will be released via Koch/Black Hand Entertainment, and its first single, “Don’t Surrender,” features Queens rapper Grafh.

I knew she wasn`t pregnant . I mean she only said that to cover herself . I mean she knows shes gonna do time and all of a sudden shes pregnant . I really don`t have any sympathy for her at all she just needs to get her mind right .

These female rappers are so dumb. They need to take something for the pms and stop reacting off of emotion and getting put in jail! you chicks are rappers, not politicians and police so you are not above the law because you have a rap album

This is a catty rappy that deffinately has issue with who she is. This situation is deffinately not like lil kim. Lil kim was lying on the stand to avoid her peeps from going to jail. You can tell that foxy thinks that she can talk, or do what ever she wants to people. I think that she is all talk, because it was obvious that she was avoiding jail. She couldn't hear then the pregnant rumors. Get real girl!! at this point since she has a little money, she should hire her glam squad like lil kim, and avoid going in the salon trying to be recognized. She is old school who is trying to make a combact. The only way that she will be heard if she learn how to write her own, and stop futuring men on her tracks...eve, and kim holds it down at this point. She didn't come out with the album earlier, because she heard kims album that was off ther hood, and foxy realized that she need to re work the mess that she was going to drop earlier... Queen b fan to the heart.
