Eminem Back In Studio, Possible New LP
Friday, September 14, 2007 By: Kenny Rodriguez
Rap superstar Eminem announced he is working on several projects on his Shady Records label, which may include a follow-up to his 2004 album, “Encore.”
The Detroit rapper called into New York’s Hot 97 radio station on Wednesday during an on-air interview with 50 Cent, who released his own album, “Curtis,” earlier this week.
“I’m always working – I’m always in the studio,” said Eminem, adding that he is “in limbo” and “debating” over whether or not to drop a new album.
“It feels good right now, the energy of the label. For a while, I didn’t want to go back to the studio … I went through some personal things. I’m coming out of those personal things [and] it feels good.”
When asked about a release date, Eminem jokingly said he’d put out the album “tomorrow.”
In the meantime, Eminem is working alongside several artists on his Shady Records roster, most notably Stat Quo and Ca$his.
