I really dont like promoting this kanye, 50 debate, but headline is like "winning a beauty contest in the country of blind people". A very large percentage of people in eastern and western europe (outside the uk and ireland) dont understand the lyrics of songs, they lyp-sync to it. They pay for the brand, not the content.

Let me clarify my previous statements, it has been my experience with europeans that they do not fully grasp the social, economic, and racial dynamics of this country that kanye often touches on in his music, which i think makes it harder for most europeans (especially those that never been to the u.s.) to appreciate kanye's music.

I can apreciate people sayin that people in europe dont understand the us but come on what does kanye rap about? ummmm subject 1)how amazing kanye west is, subject 2) how great kanye west is, subject 3) how kanye west has a big head, etc. So to be honest if people in europe couldnt understand it would probably be 50's that they couldnt understand cause he raps about stuff other than himself. Elmorado, why cant some1 like nas, rakim etc and 50? yea admitedly they very different, but i can say that i like stuff thats better hip hop such as talib kweli, moss def etc, but i also like 50. He may not be close to these other guys lyricaly or in any way but just cause it aint got tallent doesnt make it sh*t its still catchy and still has some pretty hot beats. 50 cent is god awful, and kanye west is pretty decent, he definitely spits better rap in general, but to imply that kanye west is spitting about real sh*t is a lie in itself. Kanye west spits about the same generic topics as every other mainstream rapper (at least on this album). He talks about himself,clothes, fame, and money like it's going out of style. So don't treat him like the messiah of positive, deep, intelligent, hip-hop, because it's not true at all.
