Monday, October 1, 2007 By: Kenny Rodriguez
The RZA, GZA, and others will appear in an upcoming panel hosted by the Hip-Hop Chess Federation, as several rap artists discuss how chess and martial arts have affected their music.
The forum takes place during the 1st Annual Chess Kings Invitational in San Francisco, which coincides with a chess tournament, kung fu film showings, and a charity auction.
Other attendees include turntabilist DJ Q-Bert, Casual of Hieroglyphics, Rakaa Iriscience of Dilated Peoples, and chess champion Josh Waitzkin.
The Invitational, co-sponsored by video game company Ubisoft, is scheduled on October 13 in the San Francisco Design Center.
