Pharrell Consults For Reality Show ‘Limelight’

Neptunes producer Pharrell Williams has been tapped to help develop an upcoming reality series, “Limelight,” which follows students at a New York performing arts school.

As a consultant for the show, Pharrell will be working with film producer Joseph “McG” Nichol, the executive behind NBC’s “Chuck” and the CW’s “Search for the Next Pussydoll.”

“This project reminded me a lot of my own life growing up,” said Pharrell, who attended the Old Nation Center for the Gifted & Talented in his Virginia hometown.

“Coming from a different environment where we stuck out for having abilities that we later learned, after attending a school like this, were actually gifts and talents.”

“The moral DNA for this project is that it’s okay to dream, but to bring it to fruition requires hard work.”

“Limelight” will premiere on ABC.

I agree another reality show this sh:t is getting old if you don't have any acting skills do a reality show alot of rappers doing this. He best rappers can be actors too ice-t ice-cube,snoop dog ,emi don't know about xzibits acting i didn't see the football movie he made but i loke his music
