Donda West’s Death Unclear, Conflicting Reports

An autopsy has been scheduled for Donda West, mother of Kanye West, after preliminary information suggested her death may be due to a recent surgery – according to a coroner’s investigator.

However, it is still unclear if West had even undergone a surgical procedure.

Donda West died on Saturday night at Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center in Marina del Rey, California, where paramedics took her after she stopped breathing in her home.

“We tried to resuscitate her, but were unsuccessful,” said Deborah Ettinger, a hospital vice president.

An autopsy is expected to be conducted by Wednesday.

Patricia Green, a previous publicist for Kanye West, told news sources that West died after a cosmetic surgery procedure – but later retracted her comments, saying she had received conflicting information.

According to reports, West had approached a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills months ago, but was denied surgery because she did not return with a medical clearance for an undisclosed condition that concerned the doctor.

Meanwhile, publicist Maureen O’Connor has released a statement on behalf of West’s family.

“Kanye West, his family and friends would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and kind words that have come in from across the country since the death of his mother.”

Donda West was 58.

I luv kanye, but i think (just speculation i cpuld be wrong) the reason the publicist retracted her comments was because dieing in cosmetic surgery is embarrasing, forreal that is not going out with diginity

Powers that control or lives and goverment or unseen..we live in a wicked world..the west's family knows this, well i going to speak for them...the president never forgot what kayne said about katrina..and how he didnt like blacks,it was embarrasing for the president because it was true and put him on the spot...they they killed ms.west.. Damn luv u kanye but we have no control over our lives we cant predict whats gonna happen after we make decisions we can assume how we would want things 2 be but all things happen 4 a reason even though we know the only thing promised in life is death which is always hard 2 accept but mark my words this man is gonna get farther in his career after this life is an experience u have 2 accept the negative to create a positive keep ya head up kanye we all may not know what it feel like 2 lose a mom but we couldnt imagine life w/out them but cherish ur goodtimes ya'll had & except the things u cannot change & have the courage 2 find strength & wisdom out of all situatons....luv ya

I feel your pain when my loving mother passed away i thought i wasn't going to make it but i kept faith in my heavenky father jesus christ ..
