Def Jam Releases Rare Tracks From Past Year

Def JamDef Jam Recordings has selected several rare songs from rap artists Nas, Fabolous, Method Man, and others for a compilation which hits stores next month.

The upcoming CD, titled “Def Jam Sessions, Vol. 1,” is a set of rare, import-only and unreleased tracks from late 2006 up until now – such as Nas’ “The N…” and “Where Y’all At,” and Fabolous’ “I Shine You Shine” and “Chirp Back.”

It will also include rare material by R&B artists Rihanna, Ne-Yo, and Bobby Valentino, who are also signed to the Def Jam label.

The 13-track compilation is due out on Dec. 18.

Nice....and unreleased songs are sometimes real good (look at nas, 2pac, bone thugs, wu-tang, etc)
