Nas’ LP Reportedly Pushed Back To Feb. ‘08

Nas’ upcoming album, controversially titled “Nigger,” has reportedly been pushed back to February 2008, after it was initially slated to hit stores next month.

According to MTV News, “Nigger” will now hit stores in February to coincide with Black History Month, and its first single will drop in January.

Meanwhile Nas has said that the song “What It Is,” which leaked onto the internet last week, will definitely not be on the album.

“I never rhymed to that beat,” the Queensbridge rapper said.

Several producers have already contributed to the LP including Salaam Remi and DJ Toomp.

Diddy and the Hitmen, who produced most of Jay-Z’s latest LP “American Gangster,” are also scheduled to add a few beats before the album is wrapped up next week.

Nas is tryinna move units this go around. Production looks to be solid. More radio friendly. I was impressed wit the hitmen on tha ag lp. Salaam is nice and dj toomp will provide piff. Dont be surprised if you hear a different sound from nas. Im a nas fan from way back but sorry to admit it ppl tha game has changed. Niggas can choose to move with and make money or stay stuck in tha past and be considered a dinosaur. Def jam invested money in him and therre not gonna let him become a dinosaur. We can only judge the album by it's tracks. Nas seems to be back on point since stillmatic. Let's hope the album title "N*gg*r" is an indication of a deep album.

Bashin on success - you are only as good as your last song. Everyone use to be riding on 50 cents knob like-a-2-penny-ho. A couple of songs later its "50 fell off".
