Lupe Fiasco Sets Tour Dates For New Album

Lupe FiascoCoinciding with Lupe Fiasco’s upcoming album, “The Cool,” the Chicago rapper has announced several shows throughout the end of the year:

Nov. 30 - Urbana, IL - University of Illinois
Dec. 2 - Champaign, IL - University of Illinois
Dec. 6 - Los Angeles, CA - TBA
Dec. 7 - Los Angeles, CA - TBA
Dec. 18 - New York, NY - The Fillmore
Dec. 27 - Honolulu, HI - Pipeline Cafe

Lupe is also planning a series of House Of Blues shows in January, although an exact schedule is still in the works.

Aside from his LP, Lupe is also working on a few side projects: including a comic book spin-off based on the album’s characters, a Child Rebel Soldiers group project with Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, as well as his next (and reportedly last) album, tentatively titled “L.U.P.End.”

I'm really anxious to hear this album. From listening to a few areas of hip hop, lupe's material ranks along with what reflection eternal was for talib, black on both sides was for mos def, and reasonable doubts was for jay-z. When you hear music and you can hear it in the words of an artist in the true sense of the word artist, you think about this man, lupe fiasco. I'm excited about hip hop again. I just wish i can get to a concert and that he does one every year, no matter how many albums he does or doesn't put out. ~ezeryah mhounarru~
