Pete Rock Readies ‘NY’s Finest’ For February

Pete Rock is gearing up for his highly anticipated album, “NY’s Finest,” which hits stores in February.

As its title suggests, the legendary producer has collaborated with several New York-based rappers such as Raekwon, Jim Jones, Papoose, Masta Ace, and Royal Flush.

Other featured artists from outside the NY area include Redman and Slum Village.

Similar to his previous solo albums, “Soul Survivor” (1995) and “Soul Survivor II” (2004), Pete Rock also raps on several tracks including its street single, “We Roll,” featuring Jim Jones and Max B of the Diplomats.

“NY’s Finest” drops on Feb. 26 via Nature Sounds.

This sh*t should be hot since it got raekwon and redman on it... I hope jim jones aint over the whole album. Also i hope he got cl smooth on some tracks...

Pete got beats for days kid....can't wait for this joint....glad ta see sum more sh*t with rae and i can't wait ta hear poose rip up a p rock track.....by tha way black milk got dope beats...and not to badlyrics.....kanye been droppin classics as a prodcucer and an mc.....but neither can touch pete's tracks....i mean "t.r.o.y." back then....and "r.a.g.u." now.......its on man...peace
