Kidz In The Hall Blends w/’The In Crowd’

Nearly three quarters of Kidz In The Hall’s Duck Down/Major League LP ‘The In Crowd,’ due April 29, includes featured guests.

“We have taken our experiences and our year of traveling and performing and morphed it into a true musical experience with some of the best rappers and musicians around---the true In Crowd,” says producer Double-O. Rapper Naladge says, unequivocally, the new record is a hip hop classic. It features Skyzoo, Buckshot, Sean Price, Masta Ace, Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes, and Camp Lo among others.

As if earning blessings from 9th Wonder and Just Blaze wasn’t enough, the Ivy League Kidz In The Hall successfully lobbied to place a track (“Work To Do”) with Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. “Work To Do” has been posted at Barack Obama’s website. Kidz In The Hall released it’s debut, “School Was My Hustle,” through Rawkus Records in late 2006. ‘The In Crowd’ comes on the heels of 2007’s strictly digital release ‘Detention,’ w/DJ Mick Boogie.

‘The In Crowd’ is a masterpiece and a concise reflection of our sound, as it’s a bolder and bigger sounding album made for huge shows and cigarette lighters,” says Double-O.

‘The In Crowd’ is going to solidify us as the best new group in Hip-Hop,” boasts Naladge. “We went out of our way to create an album that has something for everyone and is air-tight from beginning to end.” The video for the album’s lead single “Drivin’ Down Block” (Low End Theory) is directed by Three/21 Media founder Rik Cordero (Jay-Z, Joe Budden, Consequence); it hits airwaves in the coming weeks. University of Pennsylvania grads Kidz In The Hall will appear at the 2008 SXSW Music Conference in Austin, Texas and at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, Florida. The duo joins Duck Down artists on a national tour this summer.
