Eminem Pens Memoir To Drop In The Fall
Thursday, February 28, 2008 By: Kenny Rodriguez
While everyone waits for Eminem’s highly anticipated “King Mathers” album to finally drop, the rap superstar is busy writing something other than rhymes.
The Detroit artist is working on an autobiography, titled “The Way I Am,” which may hit bookstores as early as this fall.
According to a publicist from Interscope Records, despite early reports that say it will be released on Oct. 16, the memoir “is still in the process of being written and edited.”
“The Way I Am” is a follow-up to Eminem’s 2002 book, “Angry Blonde,” a commentary on several of his most notable songs.
It also follows the UK release of another Eminem-inspired book, “My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem,” penned last year by the rapper’s mother Debbie Nelson – in which she claims he has battled with severe depression for over a decade.
“The Way I Am” will be released via Dutton Books, an imprint of the Penguin Group.
