Duck Down Vs. Stones Throw Sound Clash

Two of hip hop’s indie heavyweights, Duck Down Records and Stones Throw Records, will March 12 at Austin, Texas’ SXSW Music Conference coalesce for a free show.
"We are excited to partner up with Stones Throw Records to present the Soundclash,” says Duck Down co-owner/front-man Buckshot. “Stones Throw and Duck Down are both highly respected brands in the Independent rap game and we understand that there is power in numbers. On March 12th we'll be providing a free show to the public and it's a way to give back to the rap community who continues to support our movements and our projects.”
V Tech phones sponsors the concert (to be held at "The Habana Annex") that features Sean Price (Duck Down), Buckshot, of Black Moon (Duck Down), Kidz In The Hall (Duck Down), Guilty Simpson (Stones Throw), Percee P (Stones Throw), DJ Mister Nash (Duck Down), and DJ Rhettmatic (Stones Throw).
SXSW Music Conference is a week long creative arts/networking event run by private, Austin, TX based SXSW Inc. It established the Music and Media Conference & Festival in 1987 and in 1994 added conferences and festivals for the film industry and interactive media.
