Killah Priest To Drop Sixth Studio Album
Wednesday, April 30, 2008 By: Kenny Rodriguez
Killah Priest is gearing up for his sixth solo album, “Behind The Stained Glass,” set to drop later this month.
As the follow-up to his recent 2007 LP, “The Offering,” it will include newly recorded material, and at least one unreleased track from his previous album.
But unlike his last LP – which featured cameos by Nas, Canibus, Ras Kass, Kurupt, and Immortal Technique – the Wu-Tang Clan affiliate paired up with fewer guest artists this time around, most notably 60 Second Assassin from Sunz Of Man.
Priest recently stated that he hoped to “[take] it back to the ‘Heavy Mental’ stage,” referring to his 1998 debut album which received critical acclaim.
“Behind The Stained Glass” hits stores on May 20, via a joint deal with his own imprint Proverb Records and Good Hands Records.
Its track list is as follows:
1. I Believe
2. 4 Tomorrow
3. A Crying Heart
4. Hood Nursery
5. Redemption (feat. Jeni Fujita)
6. Profits of Man (feat. 60 Second Assassin)
7. The World
8. Vintage (Things We Shared)
9. Looking Glass (feat. Allah Sun)
10. I Am
11. The Beloved (The Messenger)
12. Jeshurun (feat. Victorious)
13. God’s Time
14. Born 2 Die (feat. Victorious)
15. O Emmanuel (Zoom)
16. The End Is Coming
